Bruce Bump

Married to Autumn with three stepchildren, ages 12, 16, and 18. Their 5th wedding anniversary is coming up on July 4th. They were married on the grounds of the Gettysburg National Battlefield. Bruce is currently retired with a disability.

Bruce is the current webmaster for the Wesleyville Hose Company, with over 15 years of past experience in web site creation and maintenance. As he says, "I is always thinkin'..."

He has worked in the past for several companies as a telecommunications engineer and manager, and is fluent with most computer languages and applications. He also has experience in marketing and sales, and has been the primary planner for many multimillion dollar projects for various large companies. It is best to ask what Bruce hasn't done over the past years of his varied careers.

Bruce joined us last October, 2007, as the official WHC webmaster, and looks forward to many years of service in the future. He says he is too old for any real physical work, so he volunteers his time as he can for the WHC.

He has plans of joining the WHC Paintball Team, however, and is also known as "Tombstone Charlie," the author of the Halls of Fear books, Volumes 1 & 2.

Bruce is an avid Military History and Civil War buff, and he and his wife, Autumn, can pretty much describe all of the battle sequences for the Battle of Gettysburg and Antietam.

His favorite saying is, "Be sure you are right, and then go ahead," a cliche from his Davy Crocket childhood days.
