The all new building contains over 4,800 square feet and has over 16' high ceilings for lots of
space for new rooms and thrills for the Halls of Fear.
It was primarily designed for rigorous Training Exercises
in all weather conditions, with space for a 2-story single family dwelling inside for live hose and rescue operations. A 600
sq ft classroom will soon be added to allow for lectures, followed by hands-on style training on the floor below. This will
be made available for other local and area departments to use for their training as well.
It will eventually contain
a full service kitchen, office space, a weight room, and will be multiuse for other Wesleyville Hose Company training events
and fundraisers like Auxiliary Rummage Sales, Vegas Night, and others.
The hall will also be made available to
the public in the near future for rental for banquets, receptions, private parties, and many other social events.
Enjoy these photos supplied by Dean Allred, Training Officer and Building Construction Manager of the progress on the New
Training Center for WHC! The last photo is of the old Halls of Fear building, which is puny in comparison.
